Byzantine Music Courses

Having its origins in Ancient Greece, Byzantine music was a significant part of the Byzantine culture and, for many people, it is the foundation stone of teaching any kind of traditional music. The Byzantine Music Courses of the Lyceum Club of Greek Women of Lemnos enable students to discover a wealth of ecclesiastical music and hymnology, acquire valuable knowledge with regard to the Psaltic Art and cultivate their musical spirit.



Both beginners and more advanced students who want to learn more about the Byzantine music theory, practice and be taught a great repertoire of ecclesiastical music can attend the Byzantine Music Courses of the Lyceum Club of Greek Women of Lemnos. Students can also take part in various events that the club holds during the year.
